Albaugh is pleased to announce that Euskatel® (Prothioconazole 250 g/L) with registration number 28412P/B has received a label extension in Belgium, further strengthening its position as a fungicide solution for cereal growers.
Euskatel® was already registered for winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, winter rye, and spring rye. With this new extension, the label now includes winter triticale and spring triticale, supported by a full disease spectrum extension for these crops.
The updated label also facilitates broader use, from BBCH 30 to 65, giving growers and advisors greater flexibility when planning cereal disease management programmes. The extension also broadens the approved disease control spectrum, including:
- Helminthosporiosis (net blotch) in barley
- Brown rust in wheat, rye, and triticale
This expanded registration enhances the value of Euskatel® for the Belgian market by offering growers a practical and reliable disease control option with increased flexibility across major cereal crops and application timings.
At Albaugh, the focus is simple: to give growers practical, reliable choices that help them manage real field challenges. This label extension is one more step in supporting cereal growers with flexible crop protection options adapted to their needs.
Albaugh is also expecting registrations in additional countries, subject to local regulatory approvals.
Disclaimer: Always use plant protection products safely and according to the approved local label. Approved crops, diseases, dose rates, timings, and conditions of use may vary by country.
