Principal Duties & Responsibilites
Product Development
• Work closely and be aligned with the company strategy and tactics for the development of new products and the management and development of the existing portfolio.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product development / label extensions to ensure the continual improvement of the product portfolio.
• Manage and follow up Efficacy trials and studies, principally for product development and launch purposes.
• Build and maintain detailed technical dossiers for all commercial products and pipeline products and contribute the technical aspects of the product launch platforms.
Regulatory Support
• Assist in the definition of the GAP for new projects providing agronomical input and ensure it meets the needs from Commercial, including new ideas or potential areas of future interest to the company.
• Execute and follow GEP Regulatory field trials for a number of agreed projects.
• Analyze Efficacy data, prepare and present summaries at technical review meetings.
• Write/Review and comment on the technical aspects of the Biological Assessment Dossiers (BAD), provide agronomic justifications to strengthen arguments.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
• BSc. or equivalent in Biological or Agronomy.
• At least 5 years of experience in an international group in a similar position.
• A solid and professional agronomic training in either a generic or R&D based company or contract research organization in the European plant protection industry is required.
• Fluent (written and spoken) English is essential plus another European language.
