Principal Duties & Responsibilites

• Manage the day-to-day regulatory work in Turkey

• Ensure labels and SDS are compliant with national regulations

• Prepare national regulatory submissions and registration dossiers according to the latest regulatory requirements and ensure follow up submissions are made in accordance with prescribed deadlines

• Provide up to date information regarding the regulatory issues specific to Turkey such as local approval and product withdrawal dates and the adoption of local legislation which could impact plant protection products

• Communicate with and provide regulatory support to commercial managers at the national level

• Provide appropriate responses to the national regulatory authorities to address questions or meet data requirements

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

• A University degree/Masters or equivalent in Agriculture, or a related Life sciences discipline

• Fluent (written and spoken) English, in addition to Turkish

• A solid and professional regulatory affairs training in either a multinational, generic or R&D based company or in a contract research organization in the plant protection industry

• A minimum of 5 years of regulatory experience at the country level. Current or past product development experience would be extremely useful

• A knowledge of the national data requirements for biological product registration would be desirable

• A basic understanding of the plant protection products supply chain would be desirable
