Oxitec 25% HiBio® a protective fungicide, based on copper oxychloride, with bactericidal effect used in fruit and vineyard, field and vegetable crops. Copper is a fungicide with a non-specific mechanism of action (multi-site). It is an inhibitor of sulfhydryl enzymes and leads to protein denaturation. It prevents fungal spores from germinating but has no effect on existing fungal diseases.
