- AGFAN is an oxadiazine class of insecticide that acts by blocking sodium channel in insects.
- AGFAN has broad spectrum contact and stomach poison properties resulting in paralysis and death of an insect.
- AGFAN is a non-systemic but shows translaminar movement into the mesophyll.
- AGFAN is the replacement of organophosphate insecticide, by which helps in resistance management.
- AGFAN is recommended to control DBM in cabbage crop at dose 200 to 266ml per hectare. It controls fruit/pod borers in chili, pigeon pea & tomato crops at dose 333ml to 500ml per hectare. Also recommended to use for controlling bollworm of cotton crop at dose 500ml per hectare.
