Mechanism of action: Inhibitor of carotenoid biosynthesis at the level of the enzyme Phytoene-desaturase (PDS) - 27 (HRAC). It blocks the enzyme HPPD (p-hydroxy-phenyl-pyruvate dehydrogenase), disrupting the formation of carotenoid pigments. It produces discoloration in the leaves (albinism) and subsequent necrosis and death of the weed. Tekove® is especially recommended for post-emergence early emergence control of broadleaf weeds and some annual grasses. Rapid absorption by leaves, roots and stems.
